Nashville Hot!

So, if you know anything about Jeffery B. Redding -It’s his love for Nashville hot chicken. It’s his thing. I remember back in the days when he would eat at KFC, he would go through the drive-thru, and order “Nashville Hot! Chicken and Biscuit! Breast and wing!” That was the order. I have heard it so many times it is engraved in my memory.

Well, as homie has gotten older, he has gotten more health conscious and the days of KFC have fell to the wayside. He has often searched for a great “Nashville Hot Sauce” at supermarkets, online, and anytime either of us travel. But many have been purchased - some okay, most not liked. Now, let’s fast forward to today.

Today, I was annoyed at my job. I needed to take a break and get out the building. So in total Kristie fashion, I head down to the Dollar Tree to peruse their treasures. Once my shopping was complete - I jumped in my Jeep, turned the AC on - sat in the parking lot and scrolled Instagram. I saw on Instagram a post that said, “Fat Mike’s Hot Chicken!” with a photo and then hashtags #nashvillehotchicken. So, I look it up, and it is getting amazing reviews. I am a great friend and also a great business partner - so I switch over to text messages.

My text says, “I just saw on Instagram that there is a new Chicken Place in Winter Garden, and it’s supposed to have really good Nashville Hot Chicken.”

Phone Rings. It’s him. “I’m in Winter Garden right now. Where is it at? “ I look it up and tell him it’s near the Burger Fi place. He replies, “On my way.”

Once he got there, he was completely pumped by what he found. He sent me a ton of pics. It is super cute. Everyone was super nice, but the most important thing? He said that food was the bomb! That it was cooked well, not greasy, great flavor, and he loved it.
